He became an instant social media hero but what you may not know is that he was already a hero to many, including myself. Jordan is a pediatric cancer survivor and a great advocate to the Jimmy Fund. He started to form a relationship with the Sox back in ’04 when he sang the National Anthem but the bond did not stop there. Year after year Jordan came back and raised awareness for the Jimmy Fund most notably in ’07 when he sang then ran the bases to everyone’s surprise!
Hope you enjoyed that little bit of comic relief and inspiration all in one and make sure to donate to the Jimmy Fund to help fight the fight against childhood cancer. Much love to all!
